About Us
Introduction
The International Institute for Technical Teachers (IIITT) is a National, Professional, Non-Profit making organization with a view to enlarge its activities to advance the cause of technical education and to serve the society by inculcating values in technical education. IITT promotes the research, development and dissemination of theoretical knowledge, research, and professional practical knowledge through the IITT conferences, books, collaborative projects with other organizations, and the Journal of Technical Teachers. IITT is a society of the Technical Teachers working in different Institution all over India and abroad. IITT is an educational and professional organization dedicated to the advancement of the knowledge, theory and quality of learning and teaching all areas of engineering and technology.
Mission
IITT is an association of individual technical teachers, educators, and affiliated organizations in all disciplines, who are interested in the creation and dissemination of knowledge about the use of technology in technical teachers, research, education and faculty/staff development. This organization seeks to promote research, scholarship, collaboration, exchange, and support among its membership, and to actively foster the development of new organizations where a need emerges.
IITT OBJECTIVE
- To formulate the general goals & responsibilities of technical teachers.
- To develop effectiveness in teachers & educational administrators.
- To foster research and development as a function complementary to teaching.
- To cultivate fraternal spirit amongst the teachers, administrators, industrialists & professionals.
- To bring about effective linkage between technical institutions, industry & society.
- To promote research and development as a part of academic activities.
- To award Honorary fellowships, Awards and Prizes, for furthering the objectives of Technical Education.
- To promote the development in the area of non conventional/ indigenous technologies.
- To run Early Faculty Induction Programme.
